About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accountant to join the group’s finance team. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Group Accountant, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance, and supporting the preparation of management accounts.

Key Responsibilities
● Perform reconciliations across bank accounts, debtors, creditors, payroll, and other ledgers
● Capture books of prime entry and generate client invoices
● Liaise with banking institutions and process payment uploads
● Complete and verify statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, UIF, and SDL
● Post transactions to the general ledger accurately and timely
● Prepare trial balances and monthly management accounts
● Assist in the preparation of year-end audit files

Requirements
● Relevant qualification and/or strong prior experience in an accounting role
● Excellent command of English, with Afrikaans proficiency.
● Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
● Ability to work independently, take initiative, and function well within a team
● Proficiency in the following systems would be highly advantageous:
