Job description
Vat, how to work out sales, cost of sales, mark ups, profit must be good at it.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Processes financial data on Pastel.
- Maintains financial records for international companies.
- Handles VAT submissions.
- Manages Income Tax and PAYE.
- Oversees monthly payroll.
- Prepares loan schedules.
- Prepares (AFS) Audit Files.
- Creates lifestyle balance sheet and Income statements for Moti Family.
- Issues tax invoices for vehicle sales and metal products.
- Assists Management or such other persons as the Company may, from time to time, request.
Saipa registration will be an advantage.
