Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional designation such as AGA(SA), SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent (proof required).
  • Minimum 3–5 years post-article experience out of the ATC.
  • Proven experience in preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, and tax returns.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to the client’s office at least twice per month.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements and management accounts.
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and companies.
  • Analyze financial reports and provide insights to support client decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with external and internal audits.
  • Support clients with tailored advice to enhance business performance.
  • Manage the end-to-end accounting function for a designated client.
  • Travel to the client’s offices at least twice per month for on-site meetings and reviews.
  • Support the Financial Manager with ad-hoc tasks and client queries.
  • Mentor and train junior staff where required.
