We are seeking a skilled Accountant in South Africa to join our team. You will contribute to accurate financial reporting and compliance in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights to management.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop budgets with department heads and provide financial forecasts for strategic planning.
- Management Control: Monitor internal controls for compliance and efficiency, and implement process improvements.
- Cost Control & Optimization: Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities.
- Regulatory Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, prepare documentation, and collaborate with auditors.
- Tax E-filing & Submission: Prepare and submit tax returns electronically, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow, support treasury operations, and seek financial solutions to improve performance.
- Daily Tasks: Prepare Monthly Business Activities and P&L reports, liaise with external auditors, implement financial controls, manage invoicing, payments, VAT, payroll, and maintain financial records.
Candidate Profile:
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- At least 6 years of experience as an Accountant in a structured environment.
- Knowledge of Xero and advanced Excel skills.
- Professional qualifications like ACCA, CIMA, SAIPA, or CA(SA) are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
- Organized, quick learner, and able to work independently.
- Experience in managing finance workflows and processes.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
- Willing to support team initiatives and collaborate across departments.
