About the Role

You will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with tax and accounting regulations.

The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric environment and is keen to build a long-term career in the professional services industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
  • Perform reconciliations and review general ledger entries
  • Assist with audit preparation and liaise with auditors
  • Submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns
  • Provide support on tax computations and submissions
  • Advise clients on best financial practices and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Maintain client relationships through consistent, quality service delivery
Requirements
  • BCom in Accounting or equivalent
  • Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles
  • 2–5 years post-articles experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, Xero, Sage)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation, and financial regulations
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
