Requirements :

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel partner, Sage, Intacct)
  • Diploma in Accounting or related field
  • 3 years’ experience in Accountant role

Duties :

  • Manage general ledger and ensure accurate accounting
  • Oversee and manage the full set of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Subsidiary experience
  • Monitor and manage general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Assist in audits and regulatory reporting
  • Ability to ensure accuracy in financial records and transactions
  • Excellent time management and ability to multitask
  • Understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards in South Africa
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
