Accountant position available in Plumstead, Cape Town.

Well established firm of Auditors and Accountants holds a vacancy in the accounting Department for a Qualified Accountant.

Salary: R25 000 – R40 000 per month.

Suitable candidate will hold a completed BCom Financial Degree, with completed SAICA/SAIPA or AGA Articles, and 2-4 years experience within the Audit & Accounting Industry (Current work Industry/Sector).

Some of the basic duties will include the following:

1. Supervise & Process client info;
2. Bank Recons;
3. Fixed asset Register;
4. General Journals;
5. Correct Accounting treatment on disposal assets;
6. Analyse resulting trial balance for mistakes;
7. Analytical reviews on AFS %, Inventory Days, Creditors Days, Debtor Days, Drafting Financial Statements;
8. Tax Liability;
9. Experience working on Xero and Pastel.
