Job description

We are recruiting for a fun, energetic, innovative, and enthusiastic Accountant who brings a positive attitude and passion for excellence. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Director of Finance and will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This includes executing general ledger processes, providing client support, managing transactions, balancing accounts, and resolving discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day execution of general ledger processes and client assistance.
  • Perform daily accounting transactions, account balancing, ledger reconciliations, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Coordinate and implement accounting work, SOP audits, and projects.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of profits, losses, and taxes.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the Finance team while fostering a productive work environment.
  • Support IR management, disciplinary processes, and HR activities related to Finance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, internal controls, and procedures.
  • Manage month-end and period-end processes efficiently.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related major (no experience required).
  • OR 2-year degree in Finance/Accounting + 2 years’ related experience.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Proficient in Excel; exposure to PeopleSoft, Sage VIP, OPERA, MICROS, MATERIALS CONTROL is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, report writing, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve problems, manage conflict, and make decisions effectively.
  • Attention to detail with flexibility for month-end, weekends, and overtime.
