Job description

Tangent Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong track record in selling cloud-based technology solutions.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Intelligent Automation, Custom Software Development, and Cloud Technology, along with a proven ability to access and engage in the enterprise market space.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  3. Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift strategic directions of accounts.
  4. Prepare and deliver effective presentations to C-level executives.
  5. Build Statements of Work and respond to bids.
  6. Use CRM systems for tracking client information and sales activities.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role in the technology industry.
  3. Proven sales 'hunter' capabilities, with a record of driving lead generation and new business growth.
  4. Strong understanding of Software, Intelligent Automation, and Cloud Technology.
  5. Ability to engage effectively with C-level executives.
  6. Experience in building Statements of Work and working on CRM systems.
  7. Strong mathematical skills for accurate pricing calculations.
  8. Experience with bid response and management is beneficial.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Candidates with a strong professional network and understanding of the enterprise customer landscape will be highly regarded.
