Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of products related to AV solutions, networking, and VOIP.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing client relationships, and achieve quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct market analysis and provide continuous product updates.
  • Participate in sales events, and prepare and follow up on quotations.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market the Company, its Products, and Solutions, and continuously improve the Client's perception of the Company.
  2. Understand the Client's Organisational Structure, Environment, Decision-Making Process, KPIs, Projects, Strategic Direction, Procurement Cycles, and the Competitive Landscape.
  3. Provide Clients with continuous Product and Solution updates.
  4. Manage current Clients and generate new business.
  5. Achieve Quarterly and Annual Sales Targets.
  6. Maintain and grow market share within the Public & Municipalities, Agencies, and Parastatals Sector.
  7. Provide weekly feedback on pipelines, quotations, and strategic initiatives.
  8. Conduct and submit monthly sales forecasts.
  9. Update Sales Tools and relevant systems, including the Customer Information Sheet.
  10. Make client calls and visits at least once every 2 weeks, with a minimum of 12 client visits per week.
  11. Perform telephonic client calls at least once a week.
  12. Plan daily calls for all allocated Accounts.
  13. Prepare and provide quotations upon request and follow up bi-monthly.
  14. Update clients on deliveries and order progress, and perform deliveries if required.
  15. Provide after-sales support and follow up on invoices and payments.
  16. Attend weekly debtors' meetings and product training sessions.
  17. Participate in sales and marketing events, and assist with tender submissions and ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications Required:

  • Senior Certificate (essential).
  • Relevant qualification (preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in a senior sales position within the Public & Municipalities, Agencies, and Parastatals Sector.
  • Technical Knowledge of Products including VOIP, Audio Visual, Video Conferencing, WIFI, Networking, Client Computing & Data Centre Solutions (e.g., Avaya, Microsoft, Crestron, Extron, Poly, CISCO, Huawei, Yealink, Audio Codes, HP, Dell, VMware).
  • Achieved a Target performance of more than 75% over the past 3 Years.
