Job Responsibilities
- Represents and sells the company's goods and/or services by visiting companies and obtaining orders. Promotes sales by introducing the products with the use of presentation/display techniques. Keeps immediate superior informed of competitor action and customer status. Is expected to achieve pre-set sales targets. In-depth knowledge of specialty products and their application.
- Build and maintain great relationships with agencies and end customers. Have regular check-ins and reviews with agencies and clients.
- Achieve sales targets on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Manage a positive pipeline with 5 times cover with a minimum of 20% sales conversion.
- Territory/customer patch planning and management.
- Provide good customer service to advertisers.
- All types of advertising, quotations, and coordinate adverts from production to clients.
- Flat plan and sales production changes.
- Competitor analyses and client/agencies pitching.
- Proofreading all ads.
- Ensures effective operation of sales, marketing, and advertising.
- Maintain good relationships with clients to ensure continuous business growth.
- Maintain sales strategies to achieve the short- and long-term sales revenue objectives.
- Drive trade marketing activities with agencies and clients.
SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (INCLUDING INTERNAL TRAINING)
- Have strong new business (hunting) acquisition skills.
- Strong computer skills required, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of newspaper and digital advertising.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, while providing excellent customer service.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Proven track record in Private and National Sales.
