Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Represents and sells the company's goods and/or services by visiting companies and obtaining orders. Promotes sales by introducing the products with the use of presentation/display techniques. Keeps immediate superior informed of competitor action and customer status. Is expected to achieve pre-set sales targets. In-depth knowledge of specialty products and their application.
  2. Build and maintain great relationships with agencies and end customers. Have regular check-ins and reviews with agencies and clients.
  3. Achieve sales targets on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  4. Manage a positive pipeline with 5 times cover with a minimum of 20% sales conversion.
  5. Territory/customer patch planning and management.
  6. Provide good customer service to advertisers.
  7. All types of advertising, quotations, and coordinate adverts from production to clients.
  8. Flat plan and sales production changes.
  9. Competitor analyses and client/agencies pitching.
  10. Proofreading all ads.
  11. Ensures effective operation of sales, marketing, and advertising.
  12. Maintain good relationships with clients to ensure continuous business growth.
  13. Maintain sales strategies to achieve the short- and long-term sales revenue objectives.
  14. Drive trade marketing activities with agencies and clients.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (INCLUDING INTERNAL TRAINING)

  1. Have strong new business (hunting) acquisition skills.
  2. Strong computer skills required, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  3. Strong understanding of newspaper and digital advertising.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, while providing excellent customer service.
  5. Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  6. Proven track record in Private and National Sales.
