Role Overview

We’re looking for an Account Manager based in Witbank, who will take ownership of market share for Hilti in all activities within the assigned territory, and further develop profitable sales in our Mining Segment.

This is a high-performing and supportive working culture, not an ordinary sales job.

This is a "bench role" designed for talent pipeline creation to address future hiring needs as they arise.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Develop sales in the assigned territory by utilizing all elements of our sales process to analyze, implement, and control opportunities to meet targets.
  2. Build relationships with partners, contractors, system integrators, and end users.
  3. Manage and grow key products within the sales territory by targeting appropriate customer groups and introducing new products.
  4. Ensure appropriate coverage of both existing and potential customers to develop profitable growth.
  5. Demonstrate, service, train, and test Hilti products as appropriate.
  6. Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, new launches, and other market activities, reporting monthly.
What You Need Is:
  • Degree or diploma preferred, preferably in Civil Engineering or related field, but not mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of relevant sales or technical sales experience in Mining or Construction/Heavy Duty Industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Drive to meet performance targets.
  • Problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Business acumen and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile.
