Role Overview : Are you an experienced, highly achieving Account Manager based in the Polokwane region?

We have a vacancy for an Account Manager - Generalist who will take ownership of market share for Hilti in the assigned territory and further develop profitable sales. This role involves significant travel.

Role Responsibilities :
  1. Develop sales within the assigned territory by utilizing all elements of our sales process to analyze, implement, and control opportunities to meet targets for the territory or market segment.
  2. Build fruitful relationships with all levels — partners, contractors, system integrators, end users — and actively manage and grow key product sales within the territory by targeting appropriate customer groups and introducing new products successfully.
  3. Ensure adequate coverage for both existing and potential customers to foster profitable growth.
  4. Demonstrate, service, train, and test Hilti products as appropriate; understand the market thoroughly, including competition, market prices, new launches, seminars, outlets, quality issues, and product deliveries, reporting findings in monthly reports.
What you need :
  • Completed degree/diploma (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Relevant sales or technical sales experience in sectors such as Construction or Heavy Duty Industry.
  • Proficiency in SFDC or SAP CRM7.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong drive to meet performance targets consistently.
  • Solution-oriented approach with an agile mindset to problem-solving.
  • Strong business acumen and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile.
