Role Overview:
We’re searching for an Account Manager based in the Gauteng region, with sales experience in the following trades:
Building Construction Industry, Mechanical & Electrical, Façade, and Interior finishing trades. Join our sales team and be part of a global employer, consistently awarded as a Great Place to Work, that offers a high-performing and supportive work culture.

This is a "bench-role" created to build a talent pipeline for future hiring needs as they arise.
Role Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the assigned territory to develop sales by utilizing all elements of our sales process to analyze, implement, and control opportunities within the territory to meet targets.

Build relationships with partners, contractors, system integrators, and end-users. Manage and grow key product sales within the territory by targeting appropriate customer groups and introducing new products. Ensure adequate coverage for both existing and potential customers to foster profitable growth.

Demonstrate, service, train, and test Hilti products as appropriate. Collaborate across departments, understand the market thoroughly, and stay informed on competition, market prices, new launches, seminars, outlets, quality issues, and product deliveries. Report findings in monthly reports.
What you need is:
To succeed, you should have:
  • A completed degree/diploma, preferably in Business or related fields.
  • Knowledge and experience in Construction trades and applications.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the construction/civil industry.
  • A proven track record in direct or technical sales roles.
  • Strong CRM skills, preferably Salesforce.
  • Operational, process, time management, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, listening, communication (English), and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • An agile, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong business acumen and a team-oriented attitude.
