Job description

Salary: R 30 000,00 to R 40 000,00 CTC per month (depending on experience)

Location: Cape Town (full time in-office)

Overview:

A well-known international marketing agency is in search of an Account Manager with experience in Radio Buying and Planning. The Account Manager serves as a link between clients and the agency and is responsible for the coordination of advertising campaigns and communicating clearly to all those involved. The Account Manager must understand their client's needs and objectives and liaise closely with them throughout campaigns, often daily. The Account Manager manages administrative and campaign work and ensures that advertising projects are completed on time and within budget. The Account Manager would be responsible for radio buying and planning.

Work experience requirements:

  • 5+ years proven experience as an Account Executive, or in a similar level sales/customer service role
  • Experience in Radio Buying and Planning
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software is a plus
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to build strong and mutually rewarding professional relationships
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A strong business acumen
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of the latest advertising and marketing trends
  • Proficiency with numbers, budgets and time management
