The Account Manager is responsible for assisting and ensuring that all aspects of the agency’s delivery to a client run smoothly and are managed effectively to deliver on campaigns. The role involves driving the implementation of integrated advertising campaigns and achieving results for clients as agreed with the Business Unit Director. The Account Manager reports directly to the Account Director / Group Account Director / Business Unit Director, providing updates and planning related to client campaigns.
Client Responsibilities
- Contribute to the smooth running of the account on a day-to-day basis.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels between the client and the agency, fostering strong client relationships.
- Invest in growing knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries.
- Take ownership of specific campaign components and participate in future planning.
- Produce high-quality written work on time, including client correspondence, presentations, and reports.
- Assist with preparing and delivering presentations to clients as required.
- Manage client campaigns daily and serve as the primary point of contact, building client loyalty and trust.
- Ensure follow-through and accountability from start to finish.
- Manage workflow and timing plans effectively.
- Engage with clients to develop clear, achievable briefs and action plans.
- Gather relevant market, industry, and business information for agency briefs.
People Responsibilities
- Work with senior management to set KPIs and focus on professional development.
- Manage own performance and career growth.
- Manage and motivate junior team members, focusing on training and knowledge sharing.
- Supervise account executives daily to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.

Finance Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely finance administration, including estimates, invoices, purchase orders, and billing.
- Report financial issues regularly to senior management to ensure smooth financial operations.
Operations Responsibilities
- Manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and achieve personal and client objectives.
- Keep management informed of workload issues and collaborate with team members.
- Complete timesheets and client admin reports accurately and on time.
