OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Manager is responsible for the smooth running and successful management of the client’s business across all relevant services, to ensure that all of Incubeta’s campaigns, digital solutions and projects are delivered timeously, efficiently and successfully.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE?

The Account Manager is the bridge between Client and the wider Incubeta team. They support Account Directors from a more day to day account management perspective, effectively overseeing all campaigns and solutions from outset to completion ensuring that all requirements are delivered, and where possible, exceeded.

The Account Manager must develop and foster healthy & effective working relationships with all key client contacts, as well as with all internal team members who play a part in delivering successful services and solutions.

They own the day to day management of client accounts; attending meetings & sharing minutes, taking and circulating briefs, managing projects to ensure that milestones are met, managing internal and external communications, billing and admin.

The Account Manager is responsible for the smooth running and successful management of the client’s business across all relevant services, to ensure that all of Incubeta’s campaigns, digital solutions and projects are delivered timeously, efficiently and successfully.

The position is perfect for a former Campaign Manager or Trader wanting to grow their commercial acumen and project management skills, a “traditional” Account Manager wanting to grow their knowledge and skills in Digital, or a Digital Account Executive wanting to take their career to the next level.

The ideal candidate will be able to successfully understand the client’s business, as well as Incubeta’s service and solution offering, in order to interrogate client requests and translate them into workable briefs for our delivery team. They will be able to form deep and collaborative relationships with Client and internally, and they will have a passion for delivering successful solutions that move the needle for our client’s business as well as our own.

PLACE WITHIN ORGANISATION

  • Manages a portfolio of accounts, across client service and into operations, media planning, consultancy and delivery, providing direct support to an Account Director or the Business Unit Director.
  • Collaborates with counterparts in other teams to efficiently deliver successful campaigns or projects on time and within budget.
  • Reporting into an Account Director, or directly to the Business Unit Director.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

IMPERATIVE

  • 3 + years Digital Agency experience, or 4 years’ traditional agency experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of online, including social media, content marketing, search marketing, digital media, and emerging technologies
  • Brilliant multitasker.
  • A proven track record in delivering on successful projects for improved client business performance.
  • Excellent presentation and communication (listening, written & verbal) skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to review campaign results and identify opportunities for improvement
  • A self-motivated go-getter who always strives to deliver the best possible results
  • Flexible approach and independent attitude
  • Ability to develop relationships – internally, with your team and externally, with your clients

  • Strategic Mindset – it is critical to ensure understanding of the client strategy to formulate a solution offering across our Media, Technology and Creative offerings to achieve client’s business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day to day management of the client relationship - Is the initial client ‘go to’ to manage most requests or issues.
  • Managing the day-to-day administration of the client account, including issuing of invoices, project plans, estimates and client contact reports.
  • Attending client briefings and gathering relevant data to support the development of communication strategies and briefs, and constructively sharing client feedback.
  • Disseminating information to the internal client team across account management, delivery, media, consultancy, creative teams etc. using project management tools.
  • Quality assurance of reports, presentations, campaign materials.
  • Project management - collaborating with Delivery Managers to plan, roadmap, and deliver projects, efficiently and effectively. Monitoring project deadlines and budgets, identifying and communicating potential changes that may be required, particularly from an external perspective.
  • Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions.
  • Working with the client on new and existing briefs to ensure delivery of efficient and contractually agreed solutions.
  • Organising meetings, including room bookings, catering, technology etc.
  • Management of client expectations in terms of project delivery, particularly in terms of timelines, budgets, requirements and dependencies.
  • Working with partner agencies to deliver cohesive campaigns/strategies
  • Ensuring the completion of all weekly and monthly reporting
  • Present insightful client reports with learnings in Weekly and or Monthly reviews with clients
  • Proactively research industry trends and brand knowledge to increase strategic understanding of client brands
  • Follow up on creative with creative agency / client + upload creative to relevant podio tactic, task

  • Financial Acumen – this includes but is not limited to management of invoices, POs, managing project budgets.
