A leading company in Cape Town is seeking an Influencer Marketing Manager to develop and execute influencer marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement. This role requires strong relationship management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets efficiently while collaborating with diverse teams. The ideal candidate has a tertiary qualification in PR or Digital Marketing and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Influencer Marketing (approximately 90%) : You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive influencer marketing proposals that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions for our clients.
You will play a pivotal role in identifying and partnering with influencers who align with our clients' brands and objectives, ultimately maximizing their online presence and impact.
Proposal Development : Develop and execute professional influencer marketing proposals aligned with clients' objectives and target demographics.
Influencer Relationship Management : Identify new influencers and build relationships across various industries and platforms.
Internal Collaboration and Coordination : Work closely with creative, client service, and social media teams to ensure smooth campaign rollout against concepts and objectives.
Campaign Planning & Management : Create and manage influencer campaigns, including content creation, collaborations, and occasional product / press drops.
Influencer Briefing and Collaboration : Collaborate with influencers to create authentic content that aligns with brand messaging and creative briefs.
Administrative Duties : Handle influencer contracts, payments, and related administrative tasks in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.
Performance Analysis : Track and analyze campaign success, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Budget Management : Manage budgets efficiently to maximize ROI.
Digital Tools & Technology : Use digital tools like Stellar for influencer searches and reporting.
Trend Monitoring : Stay updated on social media and influencer marketing trends to inform future campaigns.
Traditional PR (approximately 10%) : This will involve managing client relationships, developing PR campaigns, and supporting client events, launches, and crisis management as needed.
Responsibilities include :
Developing media relations and pitch stories to media outlets.Creating and distributing press releases.Collaborating with internal teams for campaign execution.Managing client budgets and reporting media coverage.Requirements Fluency in English, written and spoken.Strong copywriting, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.Analytical, creative, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.Soft skills : reliable, teachable, enthusiastic, adaptable, professional, curious, team-oriented.Minimum experience and qualifications :
Tertiary qualification in PR, Social Media Marketing, or Digital Marketing.At least 3 years' experience as a PR Account Manager or Influencer Marketing role.Experience in an advertising or PR agency.Proficiency in social media platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
