Job description

  1. Actively market, sell and grow Food & Bev ingredients to current and new customers in South Africa and Southern Africa, increasing market share.
  2. Growing year on year in terms of volume, revenue and margins.
  3. Identify new market and product opportunities.
  4. Multi-level relationships and price negotiations at customers.
  5. Negotiate sales contracts with customers.
  6. Management of customer prices and margins.
  7. Promotion of company products and image.
  8. Presentations internally and externally.
  9. Drive working platform pipeline and key projects.
  10. Prepare annual sales budget, monthly forecasts, sales reports and quarterly business reviews.
  11. Provides timely reports and information as required by management.
  12. Upload and update the customer visit reports and customers details.
  13. New business development together with Product Managers and Sales Managers and/or NPD.
  14. Assist in management of working capital within company targets.
  15. Understand and be able to react to changes within the food & beverage industry.
  16. Work with all support functions (business co-ordinators, internal sales, finance, warehouse) to ensure smooth operation of the business.
  17. Maintenance of Zero Harm principles across areas of responsibility.
