Purpose of the Role

To provide proactive business banking sales and service management, retaining and growing a portfolio of business clients by identifying and implementing value-adding financial solutions from standard or customized offerings.

Minimum Experience Requirements
  • At least 5 years of banking experience, with 3 years in Business Banking.
  • Experience managing complex portfolios with a focus on service and financial analysis.
  • Client relationship management of high-value clients with diverse needs.
  • Significant experience in preparing and motivating credit applications.
  • Experience in cost control and sales management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or Finance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Finance.
Knowledge Areas
  • Principles of business economics and current economic environment.
  • CRM principles, especially projecting credibility and presence.
  • Industry sector risks and external factors affecting markets.
  • Local market sales principles for portfolio growth.
  • General banking practices and competitor analysis.
  • Credit principles, including applications and securities.
  • Knowledge of legal entities and legislative restrictions in financial services.
  • Understanding of FAIS and FICA regulations.
  • Ability to analyze CRM insights for client management.
  • Understanding of Business Banking operations and risks.
