About the role

This dynamic role involves bringing IoT solutions to small to medium-sized customers, developing Samsara’s business, and delivering sensor data benefits. Typical sales range from $5K to $20K, often involving proof of concepts, multiple stakeholders, complex pricing negotiations, and selling to owners, safety, and operational managers. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US.

Responsibilities
  1. Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing.
  2. Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
  3. Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
  4. Handle transactional sales processes with high volume demands.
  5. Embed Samsara's cultural principles: Customer Success, Long-Term Building, Growth Mindset, Inclusivity, Teamwork.
Minimum requirements
  • At least 1+ years of experience in a closing sales role.
Preferred qualifications
  • Proven track record of meeting quotas.
  • Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deals.
  • High-volume cold calling experience.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, transactional sales environments.
  • Growth mindset and collaborative attitude.
