Job description

Our client is in the Insurance industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for Book of business which includes growth (organic new business upselling cross selling) maintenance and retention
  • Regular client interactions and documented outcomes / discussion
  • Provide good advice to clients and explain policies in order to protect their assets and protect them against financial loss
  • Meeting FAIS requirements in terms of documentation and client record of advice
  • Maintain good intrabranch / department communication and cooperation
  • Client Management
  • Up to date knowledge of changes in the insurance industry (class of business training CPD training product specific training)
  • Compliance knowledge champion and ensure adherence to all FAIS requirements
  • Advocate Treating Customers Fairly principles : internal clients and external third parties (potential new clients)
  • Manage clients effectively to avoid exposing the business to risk and incurring Professional Indemnity claims
  • Manage clients complaints and escalate if necessary

Requirements

  • Up to 5 years of relevant experience with a preference for candidates who have some technical broking experience
  • 120 Credits in Relevant Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) (preferred)
