Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform account management functions for assigned service accounts, collaborating with underwriting, claims, policyholders, and brokers. Focus on reducing loss potential while developing healthy account relationships to drive account retention and partnership.
  2. Complete on-site and remote surveys to assess an account’s operations, exposures, and hazard mitigation strategies to help Arch underwriting best identify and retain profitable business.
  3. Generate and review required reports and recommendations, meeting reporting deadlines in accordance with departmental performance objectives.
  4. Manage workload with the use of third parties as needed to accomplish assigned work by the deadlines of underwriters and the department, ensuring the quality of work provided by third parties.
  5. Assist Arch and clients with ongoing and specific projects. Support technical training presentations for internal and external clients as required/appropriate.
  6. Apply strong analytical and decision-making skills, utilizing tools/software to create and modify documents as well as analyze data for account and book improvement.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
  1. Minimum 10 years of risk control experience with both account management and site/field surveys. Solid knowledge and professional experience in HPR Property.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or safety-related field, with relevant insurance industry experience considered. Industry designations are appreciated but not required.
  3. Knowledge of NFPA, FM, OSHA, DOT, and other relevant standards and best practices.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and business acumen.
  6. Commitment to continued learning and application of new concepts to the role.

The base salary range for individuals assigned to or hired in the indicated location(s) is $133,753 - $180,959 per year, as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

Overall compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) will consider factors such as geographic location, scope & responsibilities, qualifications, talent availability, and business needs. The pay range may be adjusted in the future.
