Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running and maintenance of portfolios by providing a central office-bound contact point for customer service queries/requests.
• Assist with administration and add value to clients through identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Monitor all loan facilities in the portfolio daily against set parameters and conditions.

Experience

Minimum:

• At least 5 years of experience, including 1 year in the Business Banking environment.
• Experience in preparing and motivating credit applications.

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Diploma in Commerce or Banking.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking or Commerce.

Knowledge

Minimum:

• Features, benefits, and value propositions of company product/service offerings.
• General banking practices and procedures.
• Understanding of Business Banking operations, risks, and financial requirements.
• Credit principles, including application, securities, and balance sheet requirements.
• FICA regulations.
• Business Banking transaction processes.
• Client relationship management principles.

Ideal:

• Knowledge of competitor products, channels, and marketing tactics.
• Familiarity with Capitec/Business Bank systems and processes.
