The IIE’s Vega, Cape Town Campus, has a vacancy for a Part-Time Academic Navigator - Invigilator.

Job Purpose :

Responsible for safeguarding the safety and integrity of the assessment instrument and monitoring students during assessments to ensure no irregularities occur.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Monitoring students to prevent malpractice during assessments.
  • Distributing answer booklets and exam papers.
  • Ensuring assessment conditions adhere to policies.
  • Preparing assessment venues.
  • Providing support during emergencies (e.g., sick student, fire evacuation).
  • Addressing student queries during assessments.
  • Providing detailed reports after each session.

Minimum Qualification Requirements :

Ideal :

  • Matric

Alternatively :

  • Higher certificate / Diploma (advantageous)

Minimum Work Experience Requirements :

  • 1-2 years of industry experience.
