The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree and significant experience in Higher Education, providing leadership and support to both staff and students in implementation frameworks and innovative academic practices.

FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES/CELT

ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT PRACTITIONER (ADP)

Ref: RR01 Status : Permanent

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Health Sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Higher Education
  • Familiarity with Policies and Procedures relating to Academic Development
  • A PhD qualification would be an advantage.

DUTIES

  • Contribute to the research, design, development and review of Teaching, Learning and Assessment policies in line with relevant legislation, national standards and international best practice.
  • Implement the National and Institutional policies related to Teaching and Learning through academic staff development.
  • Liaise with Executive Dean, Departmental Heads and other Faculty committees in determining the Learning, Teaching & Assessment (LTA) needs in the faculty.
  • Provide leadership and support in LTA within the faculty.
  • Provide support to students and initiate student success interventions.
  • Foster and support innovative change in (LTA)

Salary Range: market related
