Job description

Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Health Sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Higher Education
  • Familiarity with Policies and Procedures relating to Academic Development
  • A PhD qualification would be an advantage.
DUTIES
  • Contribute to the research, design, development, and review of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment policies in line with relevant legislation, national standards, and international best practices.
  • Implement the National and Institutional policies related to Teaching and Learning through academic staff development.
  • Liaise with the Executive Dean, Departmental Heads, and other Faculty committees to determine the Learning, Teaching & Assessment (LTA) needs within the faculty.
  • Provide leadership and support in LTA initiatives within the faculty.
  • Support students and initiate student success interventions.
  • Foster and support innovative changes in LTA.
