We are seeking a skilled ABG Digicon Series 3 Operator to join our production team.

The ABG Digicon Series 3 Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the ABG Digicon finishing equipment, ensuring high-quality output and efficiency in production processes.

The Role

In this exciting and varied role, you will:

  • Operate an ABG Digicon Series 3 Digital Finishing machine.
  • Apply and inspect embellishments, inks, and varnishes on pre-printed digital labels.
  • Achieve a KPI target of 100% material and labour conversions with a cost-effective approach.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on the machine with a strong safety focus.
  • Check all components and report any maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain quality standards and quality assurance records.
  • Coordinate training responsibilities and duties for assistant printers.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience as an ABG Digicon Operator or similar role in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of ABG Digicon machine operations, including setup, adjustment, and maintenance.
  • Minimum grade 12 education.
  • Quality-driven with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or shifts.
  • A positive team player with a “Can Do” attitude.
  • Adherence to and following Standard Operating Procedures.
