Abattoir General Manager
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Hygiene and cleaning of the slaughtering area, cool rooms, skin shed and outer area of complex
- The care and maintenance of all plant and equipment, abattoir buildings and surrounds
- Stock control and storage of all products utilized in abattoir production
- Manage animals before and during the slaughtering process
- Trim, bone and slice carcasses so they are ready for sale or further processing
Requirements:
- Relevant training and experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in Management role
- Relevant certificates and qualifications
