Job description

Our JSE-listed client, based in Cape Town Central CBD, is searching for a Skilled Mobile Solutions (MDM) Analyst and Programmer to investigate, design, and build mobile-friendly user interfaces that can integrate with an SAP ERP back-end and perform complex ABAP programming.

Requirements :

• Degree or National Diploma in IT / Computer Science
• At least 5 years ABAP experience
• 5 years Neptune Software development experience
• 5 years web development (jQuery, JavaScript, HTML) experience
• 2 years’ minimum experience with Agile Methodology
• Ideally, 2 or more of the following qualifications would be a plus :

• ABAP Certified
• Java Developer Certified
• Certified User Experience Designer
• SharePoint knowledge

Additionally, candidates should be analytical thinkers, creative, and skilled at interpreting data.

Key Responsibilities :

• Investigate, design, and build mobile-friendly user interfaces that can integrate with a SAP ERP back-end.
• Perform complex ABAP programming, testing, and debugging related to SAP modules, including SAP PO, Portal, and SharePoint.
• Perform complex JavaScript programming, testing, and debugging for Neptune / Fiori applications.
• Propose mobile solutions to the business and collaborate with the development team to deliver these solutions promptly.
