Job description

Plastic Molding Mechanical Technician – 3rd Shift

Tulsa, OK Salary – Open – Depended upon qualifications and experience.

The ideal candidate will have prior mechanical maintenance experience with a basic knowledge that includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic processes.

Experience with extrusion, PET, and injection blow molding processing is a plus.

Qualified candidates must have excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal, and written communications skills.

Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Work with others in a positive and constructive manner.

5. Able to perform machine setups to approved processing parameters.
6. Troubleshoot and solve daily production and technical processing issues.

9. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and helping to enforce all standards regarding our food safety, OSHA safety, and company policies and procedures.
10. Perform and complete daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance on equipment.
11. Help monitor and maintain a spare parts inventory.
12. Help to maintain and enforce a clean environment.
13. Maintain and repair a wide variety of equipment, providing preventative and cost-efficient repairs.

Work Shift: Regularly scheduled hours are Monday through Friday with some daily and/or weekend overtime available as business needs require. Currently, we are looking to fill openings on 3rd shift. 3rd shift - 11:00 pm - 7:06 am. Must be available to work overtime on short notice as needed.

Environment: Working in a climate-controlled environment. Safety food grade facility. Clean manufacturing facility.

Required Education / Experience:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Preferred - 2+ years thermoplastic processing experience.
3. Preferred – Able to operate industrial equipment.

3. Operate equipment at a safe and proficient level.
