3rd Line IT Support Engineer – Cape Town, South Africa (Office-based)

We’re looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our Cape Town office, supporting local infrastructure and collaborating with our UK team. You’re responsibilities will include managing Networks, firewalls, switches, VMware, and user devices while ensuring security and uptime.

You’ll manage local IT infrastructure, support users, and work closely with our UK team. This role offers real progression and opportunities to learn and grow your skills.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years in 3rd line IT support
  • Experience with Windows 365, Azure, VMware, and Windows Server
  • Skilled in network management, VLANs, firewall admin (WatchGuard), and security management (Sophos, Rapid7, Duo)
  • Familiar with ManageEngine ticket system and ITIL frameworks
  • Strong troubleshooting, proactive, and good communication skills
