Overview

Assist the Chief Refrigerator Engineer in maintaining and repairing all refrigeration and air conditioning systems On Board Cruise Ship.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chief Refrigerator Engineer in maintaining and repairing all refrigeration and air conditioning systems on board a cruise ship.
  • Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Repair or replace defective parts as needed.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment and ensure it is properly connected and functioning.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Train other crew members on proper operation and maintenance procedures for refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working onboard the vessel.
  • Keep inventory of spare parts and supplies and ensure they are properly stored and maintained.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the Chief Refrigerator Engineer and work together to find solutions.
Requirements
