Job summary

Imizizi seeks experienced IT professionals to design, develop, deploy, and operate production-ready applications. You will support 24/7 operations, liaise with customers and vendors, and monitor systems to ensure uptime and performance.

Responsibilities include cloud-security pattern application, ISO-compliant documentation, risk identification, and proactive mentoring within Agile teams. Strong knowledge of Kafka ecosystems is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent IT experience.
• Experience with Kafka and Kafka Streams.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and algorithms.
• Proficient in cloud security patterns.
• Experience with performance testing and tuning.
• Experience maintaining production applications in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate production-ready business applications. (24/7 support) Liaise with customer, team members and external vendors. Monitoring and operation of applications.
• Applying cloud-security patterns and concepts to the solutions and deployments. Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.
• Identify risks / impediments, proactively resolve and/or escalate to the relevant parties.
• Comply with Code Compliance & Unit Testing standards and practices.
• Prepare system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards).
• Pro-active knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching of members from the same or other teams.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM)Team Charter
