Reporting to the Team Leader in the Tooling Department, you will fulfill the necessary requirements regarding the operational activities in the Tooling Department to meet the Company’s objectives of manufacturing high-quality components.
Key Job Functions
- Work in all areas of composite production, including automation / infusion.
- Maintain quality and adhere to quality standards at all times.
- Maintain stable production delivery.
- Achieve health and safety standards.
- Ensure build cycle requirements are met.
- Use power tools such as grinders, pencil grinders, buff machines, and sanders.
- Understand and interpret drawings, including mould modifications.
- Take responsibility and accountability for your own work.
Qualifications And Experience
- Minimum: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10) for external candidates; internal team members should have NQF Level 2 (Grade 10) and/or R&C competency certificate as a Finisher.
- Ideal: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12).
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Laminating and Finishing processes.
- Advantageous: Experience in catalyst/MEK ratio mixing (testing according to catalyst ratio chart).
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime.
- Understanding of the company's quality conditions.
