Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Refrigeration Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Physically fit to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on refrigeration and air conditioning systems onboard the cruise ship.
• Train and supervise junior engineering staff in equipment maintenance.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on all refrigeration and air conditioning systems onboard the cruise ship

- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with the equipment

- Monitor and record system performance and make adjustments as needed

- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations

- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs

- Assist with the ordering and inventory of spare parts and supplies

- Train and supervise junior engineering staff in the operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems

- Communicate effectively with the Chief Engineer and other crew members to ensure smooth operation of all systems on board

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Refrigeration Engineer

- Strong knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems

- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

- Physically fit and able to work in a variety of weather conditions
