Job description

Maintain and repair all refrigeration and HVAC systems on board the cruise ship- Monitor and record temperatures and pressures of all refrigeration and HVAC equipment- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with refrigeration and HVAC systems- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies for refrigeration and HVAC systems- Train and supervise junior refrigeration engineers- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulationsQualifications : - Minimum of 5 years experience as a refrigeration engineer, preferably in a marine or cruise ship environment- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, air handlers, and compressors- Familiarity with refrigerants and their properties- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities- Willingness to work long hours and in a fast-paced environment- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
