What You’ll Do:
- Provide 1st line support to a global client base via email, phone, and remote tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Support Microsoft technologies, both cloud and on-premise
- Collaborate with senior engineers on more complex incidents and project work
- Document IT systems and solutions, including network diagrams and processes
- Occasionally visit client sites in South Africa for on-site support and implementation
- Deliver high-quality, client-focused service with professionalism and attention to detail
What You’ll Bring:
Experience (1–2 years) with:
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft Server (2016, 2019, 2022)
- Office 365, Exchange, OneDrive
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
- Basic networking (VLANs, IP routing), wireless networking
- SIP/IP telephony
- Enterprise antivirus (Bitdefender preferred)
- Backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, MSP360, LiveVault)
- Troubleshooting third-party apps and systems
Nice-to-Haves:
- Microsoft, SonicWALL, or HP Networking certifications
- Knowledge of SharePoint, firewalls, and IT security best practices
- Exposure to virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, vSphere)
