We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team at Ctrack.
This position is exclusively available to individuals residing in Cape Town.
Main purpose :
The main purpose of this position is to confidently sell and market Ctrack's solution stack to new customers within the Fleet and SMB market segments, ensuring monthly sales targets are met at optimum profitability while delivering excellent customer service.
This role is responsible for prospecting, lead generation, and converting leads into new business opportunities.
Sales Consultant Key Responsibilities :
Contribute to the growth profit of the portfolio
- Ensure that the business target is achieved or exceeded by selling and promoting the Ctrack solution stack to new customers.
- Meet cold calling targets through effective customer visitation strategies.
- Achieve a minimum of 3 new customer presentations per day.
- Adopt and drive a solutions stack selling methodology during customer engagements.
- Manage and update opportunities in the Ctrack pipeline weekly, maintaining accurate records and engaging customers to close opportunities quickly.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads, track sales activities, and follow up on inquiries promptly.
Achieve and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction :
- Promote a first-call resolution culture across all customer communications.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and challenges.
- Be fully trained and comfortable with the entire Ctrack solutions stack.
- Present product demonstrations and articulate value propositions effectively.
- Maintain a customer service index (CSI) above 90%.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate terms and pricing to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and support teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
Customer retention
- Measure and manage preventable churn within your customer base, aiming for a zero-churn culture.
General Responsibilities
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to develop effective sales strategies.
- Utilize CRM software to track activities, manage pipelines, and generate management reports.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote products/services.

Qualifications :
- Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Studying towards or possessing a Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field is an advantage.
Experience :
- Minimum of 2-4 years relevant sales experience.
- Proven success in B2B sales roles, with at least 2 years in similar positions.
Skills :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong prospecting, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Results-driven with a focus on exceeding targets and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
- Motivated, adaptable, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
Systems Knowledge :
- MS Office - Intermediate level.
- Solid experience with CRM software.
