Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated New Business Sales Consultant to drive growth by acquiring new customers through face-to-face sales within the Durban, South Africa region.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target new B2B customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and inbound leads. Use tools to manage sales activities and set up face-to-face meetings to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
  2. Solution Selling & Presentations: Present our vehicle tracking, telematics, and SaaS solutions, emphasizing ROI and operational efficiency. Conduct product demos and develop pricing proposals based on customer needs.
  3. Contract Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts, overcome objections, and close deals, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  4. Customer Onboarding & Handover: Oversee onboarding to ensure proper implementation and support during the first six months, collaborating with internal teams for a smooth transition.
  5. Vetting & Compliance: Vet potential customers for alignment with company criteria, assessing risks and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in technology, software, data, or SaaS industries.
  • Proven success in acquiring new business via cold calling, lead generation, and face-to-face selling.
  • Experience selling solution-based products/services, especially in telematics, fleet management, or data-driven tech.
  • Strong skills in pricing, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
