Junior Qlik Developer position

We are looking for a Junior Qlik Developer to support the lead analytics specialist. The role will focus on administrative tasks, report building, on-premises server support, cloud support, and other duties to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the analytics services department.

Junior Qlik Developer responsibilities include:

The Junior Qlik Developer will assist in the development, maintenance, and support of QlikView and Qlik Sense applications. The role requires a foundational understanding of Qlik products including Qlik Sense Enterprise (on-premises and cloud), Qlik NPrinting, and Qlik Automation. The Junior Qlik Developer will work closely with senior developers and business stakeholders to create optimized data models, advanced visualizations, and automated reporting solutions.

Development & Maintenance:

• Assist in developing and maintaining QlikView and Qlik Sense applications.
• Work with QVD files to optimize data harvesting and storage.
• Utilize loops and scripting techniques to automate data loading and transformation processes.
• Create and maintain advanced visualizations and dashboards in Qlik Sense.

Data Integration & Reporting:

• Assist in integrating data from various sources (databases, flat files, APIs) into Qlik applications.
• Work with Qlik Cloud Excel Add-in reporting templates.
• Utilize Qlik Pixel Perfect for report design.
• Work with Qlik NPrinting to automate report generation and distribution.

Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide support for existing Qlik applications, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Assist with Qlik Billing audits and license management.
• Resolve user issues related to Qlik applications.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with senior developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Documentation:

• Document data models, scripts, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated with the latest Qlik features, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in Qlik Sense, Qlik NPrinting, and Qlik Automation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 1-2 years with QlikView and/or Qlik Sense (internships or academic projects acceptable).
• Certifications: Qlik Sense Business Analyst or Data Architect certification is a plus.

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Intermediate SQL knowledge (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL advantageous).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
