The appointee will develop academic material, deliver lectures, assess students, supervise postgraduate work, and contribute to research and community projects, with two years’ teaching experience and a Master’s degree essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s-level degree in Health Management, Health Economics, Health Governance, or Public Health.
• Minimum two years’ teaching/lecturing experience relevant to health subjects.

Main purpose of the job

To develop academic material and lecture in allocated subjects for own and other programmes and to execute appropriate community projects.

Minimum salary scale (Total Cost to Company): R 816 162 per annum

Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience

• A relevant Master’s-level degree (i.e. M Tech / Masters / NQF 9 or equivalent) in Health Management/ Health Economics/ Health Governance/ Community or Public Health Management or Public Health.
• Two years’ teaching/ lecturing/ industry experience relevant to the subject field(s).

• Evidence of progress towards a Doctorate degree.
• Any acknowledged publication, research, innovation or creative output.
