Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure adherence to global pest control and fumigation standards. The role focuses on QA checks, field assessments, and staff training to uphold service quality across installations and upgrades.

The candidate will prepare monthly QA reports and liaise with customers, ensuring documentation and compliance with H&S requirements. Willingness to relocate to Cape Town is required.

Qualifications

• Matric and pest control credentials are required.
• P-Number registration and fumigation qualifications are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct infield reviews/assessments with service technicians.

Job description

To provide effective Quality Assurance Control and Supervision, and to ensure compliance of divisional quality standards within the business unit. Furthermore ensuring full compliance with service/company procedures. Special focus in assuring quality service to all customers and full compliance to Global Pest Control and Fumigation Standards

The following vacancy has arisen in the Technical Service Support Unit (Initial Technical Department).

Appointments will be made in line with Company Employment Equity and Workforce Profile.

Position will be based in Cape Town. Therefore candidates need to be willing to relocate.

KEY WORK OUTPUTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Conduct regular infield reviews/ assessments with service technicians to monitor abilities.
• Continued communication and interaction with external clients.
• H&S Branch Audits – Pest Control.
• New Product trials.
• Internal Training and Customer Education.
• Ensuring quality Rentokil Services and Installations through QA Checks = 10 Calls per week (All new installations and upgrades, Existing Clients, Top Tier, High Risk)
• Assist in basic installations from time to time.
• Complying with RISA codes of practice: Code of Conduct, Ensure Compliance with Legislation and Regulations.
• Assist Customers with Audit preparations, ensuring all documentation is at hand and up to date.
• Follow up on actions and recommendations to ensure compliance between Rentokil and Customer.
• Compile and communicate Monthly QA reports.
• Ensure all H&S Practices are in place for PPE/PPC and report on non-compliance.
• Ensure the correct use of company Approved Product List (APL) and report on non-compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Matric
• Full NCPC
• Registered Pest Control Operator with P-Number
• Must have FUMIGATION qualification in Silos,Stacks,Containers,ISPM15
• Experience with Phosphine and Methyl Bromide Gas
• Above average Pest Control Product knowledge and Technical Skills.
• Computer Literate MS Office, Google Suite
• Facilitator qualification would be advantages
• Competencies in line with WL2 requirement
