Requirements

The Service Technician is responsible for managing the relationship between Rentokil and the prospective client through the delivery of high quality pest control and initial services suitable to the client's expectation. They are responsible for achieving standards of service quality and productivity as set by the company.

1. Providing quality pest control / management service
2. Achieving standards of productivity as set by the company
3. Retention of existing clients
4. Complying with the Rentokil Codes of Practice: Rules of conduct
5. Compile necessary documentation for client and office after service is completed
6. Advise client on housekeeping, stacking and proofing requirements
7. Comply with legislation and regulations
8. Ensure equipment is maintained and clean at all times
9. Carry an adequate range of pesticides and equipment necessary to deliver service
10. Ensure the company vehicle and image is protected at all times
11. Ensure the usage of the correct Personal Protective Equipment
12. Ensure company and client Health & Safety requirements are met
13. Must be customer focused / orientated
14. Ability to identify customer needs and solutions
15. Should display professional attitude
16. Must be presentable
17. Requires valid, unendorsed code 08 drivers licence
18. Highly developed communication skills (Written / Verbal / Non-verbal)
19. Requires good time management skills to efficiently and effectively perform daily duties
20. Good physical health
21. Knowledge of competitors and competitor activity
