The Service Technician (PCO) is responsible for managing relationships with clients by delivering high-quality pest control services that meet client expectations. They must achieve service quality and productivity standards set by the company.

KEY WORK OUTPUTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Providing quality pest control/management services
• Achieving productivity standards
• Retaining existing clients
• Complying with the Rentokil Codes of Practice and Rules of Conduct
• Completing necessary documentation post-service
• Advising clients on housekeeping, stacking, and proofing requirements
• Ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment
• Carrying necessary pesticides and equipment
• Protecting company vehicle and image
• Using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
• Meeting health and safety requirements for company and clients

SKILLS and COMPETENCIES

• Customer-focused/oriented
• Ability to identify customer needs and solutions
• Professional attitude and presentability
• Valid, unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, non-verbal)

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

• Matric or equivalent
• Knowledge of competitors and market activity
• Fully qualified (NCPC) or PMA/PCSIB and registered with the Department of Agriculture (P-Number)
• Previous pest control experience
• H&S knowledge and experience
• HACCP experience and knowledge
