We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Tier 2 IT Support Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment, can independently manage technical projects, and communicates clearly with clients to ensure expectations, timelines, and deliverables are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute technical project outlines from start to finish
- Provide Tier 2 support for Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows 10/11 endpoints
- Configure and manage Intune for device enrollment and compliance
- Communicate effectively with clients to set expectations, provide updates, and confirm task completion
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated tickets from Tier 1 support
- Document all work in our PSA (Halo) and RMM (NinjaRMM) systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system management
- Assist with API integrations and custom workflows where applicable
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a Tier 2 or equivalent IT support role
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration
- Solid experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure setup and management
- Proficient in Windows 10/11 endpoint support
- Hands-on experience with Intune device management
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (Halo preferred) and RMM tools (NinjaRMM preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously
- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting and basic API concepts
- Previous experience in an MSP or client-facing IT services environment
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or similar
- Exposure to project management tools and methodologies
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM EST
