Save the Children Venezuela seeks a Programme Director and External Engagement to lead the design and delivery of the country office's full spectrum programmatic and localization strategy, and to oversee a corresponding fundraising plan. The role directly supervises heads of four units and ensures high quality implementation aligned with SCI goals.

• Minimum of 5 years management experience in international contexts or at a similar level, including humanitarian response operations.
• Experience in senior country leadership roles (e.g., Deputy Country Director, Head of Programs) or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with ability to influence cross-departmental work.
• Experience in localization and partnership programming, remote management and donor engagement.
• Experience in program development, budgeting and financial management.
• Proven staff management and supervision skills and ability to foster high performance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and delivery of the Venezuela Country Strategic Plan and localization strategy.
• Oversee annual needs assessments to set country priorities and guide implementation.
• Lead fundraising strategy and donor engagement for Venezuela CO.
• Manage risks, emergency preparedness, and country office performance.
• Represent Save the Children with government, donors, UN and partners.
