Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to safeguard the availability and performance of production systems. You will bridge software development and operations, building scalable, reliable infrastructure and practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in managing and scaling production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration and scripting using Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Demonstrated ability in incident response management and the definition of SLOs/SLIs.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain highly available Kubernetes-based infrastructure across diverse environments.
• Define and manage critical reliability metrics, including SLOs and SLIs, to drive data-driven operational decisions.
• Lead the response to production incidents and conduct thorough post-mortems to prevent recurrence and improve system resilience.
• Design and implement comprehensive observability frameworks to provide deep visibility into system health and performance.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning to reduce toil and ensure consistent, reproducible environments.
• Foster a culture of reliability by collaborating with engineering teams on architectural reviews and production readiness standards.
