About The RoleThe Child Development Service are seeking suitably experienced and enthusiastic Speech Pathologists to join our team in the role of Senior Speech Pathologist.
In this position, you will plan, coordinate and direct clinical, supervisory and professional functions of the Speech Pathology service at the Child Development Service as well as providing speech pathology services at an advanced level of practice to assigned caseload.
Reporting to the Manager Speech Pathology, your key responsibilities will include:
A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for full practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) is a requirement of this role.
About Child Development ServiceThe Child Development Service provides multidisciplinary assessment and intervention services to infant, children and young people with developmental delay or difficulties that impact on function, participation and/or the parent-child relationship.
Clinicians adopt a child and family-centred approach, working in partnership with families to address developmental concerns that are of priority to the family.
Our teams include Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals.
The Child Development Service provides services at approximately 18 locations across the metropolitan Perth area, as well as providing home, school and community visits as needed.
