Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Security Automation Engineer to advance automated security testing, threat modeling, and secure SDLC practices across our remote engineering teams. You will design, build, and maintain scalable security workflows, oversee vulnerability management, and strengthen identity management, encryption, and cloud/container security while collaborating with a global Top 1% team.

This role requires 5+ years’ experience, strong Python skills, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Python and security automation workflows.
• Experience with threat modeling and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of cloud/container security, IAM, and encryption.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated security testing and monitoring workflows to streamline threat detection and response.
• Perform threat modeling and security architecture assessments to proactively identify and mitigate infrastructure risks.
• Oversee vulnerability management processes and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a secure SDLC.
• Implement and optimize robust platform security measures, including identity management and encryption standards.
• Develop automated systems to detect, triage, and respond to security incidents and compliance anomalies in real time.

Senior Security Automation Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Security Automation Engineer, you will drive the integration of security controls and threat modeling into our engineering ecosystem. You will act as a key driver for automating security workflows, ensuring that scalable defenses and robust monitoring are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

What You'll Do:
